A shout out and goodbye!

A special shout-out to my readers from Ireland, my homeland and favorite-est place on earth! Especially Helen whose family makes the delicious Cahill's Cheese! I'll tell ya right now.. I will burn and send a personalized mix CD for anybody that orders some (especially if they get some for me). If you can't be in Heaven and you can't be in Ireland, you gotta be enjoying some Irish cheese! They say the happy cows come from California? Well, then you ain't never seen an Irish cow! They'll buy you a drink and have you laughing so hard you'll cry! :)

Anyway, everybody wave to your fellow Irish readers and welcome them aboard!

I'll be gone a week for the big Irish Festival, but stay tuned for lots of pictures next week! Say prayers that we stay dry (and sober)!

Adios!

In the movie of my life..

... the house from "Something's Gotta Give" would play my home. It's beautiful, inside and out!

Oh, how I love this house! I will gladly admit that I have paused this movie and sat in wonder, gaping at the divine design of the rooms in this home.

Oh, happy kitchen! I love the traditional hardware, cool colors and soft cabinet design! I would make better food in this kitchen, I am sure of it!

And you, sweet dining room. How do I love thee? Let me count the ways! Your light, sweet tones. Your arrangement of plates! Plus, those chairs are freaking cuuuuute!!

As for the living room, with the two story ceiling and open floorplan.. That modern rug paired with the simplistic lines of the sofas. The subtle whites paired with the dark wood and blues. The eclectic, modern twist on such a traditional room. Whew! Is it getting hot in here?

Reading nook, sweet reading nook. I'm not swooning over the wicker, but I do adore the nook-ness. I love a space that makes you want to read! :)

And how about the pool? Couldn't you just sit there for hours? Heck, you wouldn't even have to fill it up! Yes, I would sit next to an empty pool if it were upon luscious chairs like that!

The bedroom. With soft lighting, plush fabrics and tailored furnishings. I love that there is no art on the walls; just the windows to the outdoors (and probably that fabulous pool!).
